Over 80 kids participated this past Saturday at Gilmour for our FIRST street hockey event of the summer!
Of the 80 that participated around half were first time players. The day of, we had plenty of walkup interest from those in the area that heard about the event, and the entire event went without a hitch. Also on Saturday, we had two new hockey players register for Gilmour, with plenty more interest as well – so any that sign up is a HUGE plus. That’s the whole goal of these events, with your help, to continue to Grow the Game.
If you would like to help in your areas to continue to drive interest, see the quarter sheet print out to help promote in your area as well as the full size poster attached. I highly recommend you share the info below with your own programs and your youth hockey database of parents with one goal in mind: to have these parents pass along the word to their own friends or relatives that DON’T play the sport. Any classroom here in NE Ohio I would say the majority of those kids do not play the sport – so this is a great first-time event to be a part of.
Also attached are a few pics from this Saturday’s event – a big thank you to Gilmour for all their hard work.
Next stop is Elyria on Saturday, June 23rd!
