CSHL 2011-12 Events:
  • Deadline to submit preseason home ice slots/blackout weekend:
  • General Meeting: Tuesday September 13th (Mandatory)
    • 7 pm, Garfield Heights Civic Center
  • Preseason Scheduling: Saturday September 17th at Cleveland Hts. Comm. Center.
    • 8 AM Bantam
    • 10 AM Peewee
    • 12 AM Squirt
    • 2 AM Mite
  • Preseason Play: Thursday, September 22rd to Sunday, October 23th.
  • Final Preseason RPI posted Monday, October 24th Noon.
  • Deadline for Petitions/Appeal of Team Placement: Monday October 24th at 8 pm.
    • Petitions will be posted on web by 9:00 pm.
  • Cutoff for accepting feedback from Division Coaches on Petitions:
    • Tuesday, October 25th at 3:00 pm.
  • Board meets to determine team placement: Tuesday, October 25th.
  • General League Meeting: Wednesday, October 26th (Mandatory)

  • Regular Season Scheduling: Saturday, October 29th.

  • Deadline to apply to participate in State Tournaments: December 1st, 2011.
  • USA Hockey Team Rosters frozen (Tier 1 and Tier 2 only, Peewee, Bantam
    • And Midgets): December 31st 2011.
  • CSHL Blackout Date for CSHL Night at The Monsters, January xx, 2012.
  • General League Meeting: Tuesday, February 7th (Mandatory).
    • 7 pm, Garfield Heights Civic Center
  • First Playoff Weekend: Saturday and Sunday, February 25th & 26th.
  • Second Playoff Weekend/Championship Games: Saturday and Sunday, March 3rd and 4th.
  • Annual Meeting and Board Elections: Saturday May 12th (Mandatory) Cleveland Hts
      To Request Referees For A Game. Please send your request to cshlassignor@roadrunner.com. Please make sure the date, day, time (am/pm), level, period length (i.e. 12 minute periods), and rink are included in the text of the message. I will reply back with the referee's names as a confirmation that the game is covered. I will also verify the referee fee for that game. All games will be cash at the game.       History of the CSHL. Betty Ann Maulorico, CSHL Treasurer, has been involved with the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League since its inception in 1971. She spent the last 9 months writing a history of the League. It is now available for perusal by clicking on the CSHL Member Programs menu button on the left side of this page. It makes for great reading for those interested in how youth hockey has grown over the past 30 years.
